Our new location is larger, and we have expanded our services, with 2 Physiotherapists and 2 Massage Therapists to serve you. Our Team

At Family Physiotherapy Clinic, our team is dedicated to helping our patients find the best pathways back to health. We have extensive education and a commitment to continue the learning process in order to always provide the most up to date and innovative therapeutic treatments. Our Physiotherapists are licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba, and members of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Our Massage Therapists are licensed by the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba.

About The Family Physiotherapy Team

  Sandra Thompson BMR(PT), CAFCI, is the Clinic owner, and loves every day of working as a Physiotherapist – even after 25 years! Sandra graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1992, and has been certified by Acupuncture Canada to perform acupuncture since 2004. Joanne Gross BMR(PT), CAFCI, has over 26 years of experience as a physiotherapist in both the hospital and private clinic settings. She was certified in Acupuncture in 1999 and received her Intermediate manual therapy certificate in 2006. She is a member of her professional association and regularly attends courses throughout the year. Joanne obtained a sports certificate and for many years worked and traveled with AAA and Junior Hockey teams. She has a special interest in running and sports injuries as she follows her own daughters with their running and sport competitions. Connie-Lynn Regier, RMT, is a Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba. Check out the “Massage Therapy” tab to meet Connie! Carrie Barkman, Physiotherapy Assistant, will gladly answer all your questions, help you with the paperwork, and will assist you with exercise program as prescribed by your Physiotherapist.
