About Family Physiotherapy Clinic

Family Physiotherapy Clinic is located in Sanford, Manitoba, and serves the entire Rural Municipality of Macdonald. Our goal is to provide the best care possible for each patient seeking relief from injury, pain, or chronic illness. We carry out detailed consultations with each client, determine your health history, assess your goals for the future, and design a treatment plan to get you there.

We offer a wide variety of treatment options including manual therapy, exercise, massage therapy, acupuncture, and custom orthotics. Home therapy sessions are available for those not able to leave their homes or those with extremely limited mobility.

We have extensive education and a commitment to continue the learning process in order to always provide the most up to date and innovative therapeutic treatments. We are licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba, and members of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

About The Family Physiotherapy Team

 

Sandra Thompson BMR(PT), CAFCI, is an experienced Physical Therapist with 23 years of experience in prevention, assessment and management of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal, circulatory and nervous systems. She has a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) degree and is acupuncture – certified with Acupuncture Canada.

Joanne Gross BMR(PT), CAFCI, has 24 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, has a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) degree, and is acupuncture – certified with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.

Connie-Lynn Regier, RMT, is a Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba.

Carrie Barkman, Physiotherapy Assistant, will gladly answer all your questions, help you with the paperwork, and will assist you with exercise program as prescribed by your Physiotherapist.
